Non-Traditional Advertisement
This creative ad uses humor to appeal to customers by featuring decals of the iconic pigtailed fast-food mascot, allowing them to envision themselves as Wendy herself.
After researching the brand, I chose the tagline “Lookin’ Fresh” to maintain the brand’s established identity and lingo from previous ad campaigns, supporting the humorous approach.
The imagery can be easily adapted for digital platforms, serving as a filter or effect to expand its reach to a wider audience. The physical decals are versatile, suitable for use as store window displays, on mirrors, and even in smaller sticker sizes.
Tools & Software
I used Photoshop to edit the company’s logo down to display only its iconic features and added texture to achieve a more naturalistic presentation. To better represent where the ad would be displayed, I manipulated multiple photos to create the appearance of someone looking through a window in a city setting.
